La Salette Christmas Festival of Lights 2026: Free Nightly Lights in Attleboro, MA
The La Salette Christmas Festival of Lights is a free holiday light display in Attleboro, Massachusetts. Every night for about six weeks, the National Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette in Attleboro lights its grounds with more than one million lights. The 2026–2027 theme is "Christ, Light of Peace."

What you'll see
The main draw is the outdoor lights on the shrine grounds. You walk the displays at your own pace.
Inside, the shrine's International Creche Museum holds about 2,000 nativity scenes from more than 100 countries. It is open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. during the festival, so you can go early and see it before the lights come on.
On Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings, the shrine adds photos with Santa, a carousel, a hayride and the "Ride to Bethlehem." The shrine's festival page does not list prices for these; check with the shrine before you go if cost matters to your plans.
Food and the gift shop

Traffic, weather and timing
This is a popular display. The shrine notes that traffic can back up as much as a quarter-mile in each direction on busy nights, so allow extra time to get in.
The shrine may close for bad weather. If a storm is coming, call ahead or check the shrine's website before you drive over.

Getting there
The shrine's directions: from I-95, take Exit 3 (Route 123 East) into the center of Attleboro, follow Park Street under the bridge, then follow Route 118 South toward Rehoboth for about 1.5 miles. The shrine entrance is on the right. From I-495, take Route 123 West about 5 miles, turn left onto Forest Street, then left onto Park Street, and watch for the entrance on the right after about 1.5 miles.
