American Independence Festival 2026
1,007 views
The American Independence Museum's annual American Independence Festival returns July 11, 2026 in downtown Exeter NH — a key event in the town's two-week America 250 celebration. Full-day family festival featuring colonial-era reenactors, military encampments, period craft demonstrations, food vendors, live music, children's activities, and historic site tours. Held annually since the museum's founding, with 2026 as the special sestercentennial edition marking 250 years of American independence. Exeter was the revolutionary capital of New Hampshire — where the Declaration was first read and the first state constitution was drafted.
