Bangor State Fair

The Bangor State Fair is a 10-day summer tradition held at Bass Park and the Cross Insurance Center in downtown Bangor, Maine. Presented by Marden's and operated by Oak View Group, the fair pairs a full carnival midway of rides and games with agricultural and livestock exhibits, baking and photography competitions, live music, grandstand entertainment, and a demolition derby, alongside a wide range of classic fair food. Gate admission covers shows, live music, and the exhibitions inside the Cross Insurance Center arena; midway rides are priced separately. In 2026 the fair runs July 30 through August 8.
