Vendor Applications

Apply online through the Berlin Fair's "Become a Vendor" page — the fair states that all applications should be completed online, and a completed application is required every year regardless of previous participation. The form asks for company and contact details, CT tax permit number, whether you are a returning vendor, the type of rental space (Inside Marketplace & Craft Building, Outside on Pavement, or Outside on Grass — all booths 10 feet deep), the width required (10–35 feet), depth for outside spaces, whether a trailer will be parked in your space, and a full list of every item to be sold or displayed. Do not send payment or sample merchandise with the application. Applications go to the Vendor Committee for review; a representative will contact you or a contract will be sent. Once accepted you receive a contract plus current instructions and regulations. Returning vendors who do not return a completed application by April 15 risk losing their previous rental location; any space not held by a 25% deposit by April 15, 2026 is released on a first-come basis, and space is not held after June 15, 2026 unless the full rental fee has been received. No refunds after August 1, 2026. A Certificate of Insurance with a minimum $1,000,000 liability limit naming Berlin Lions Club, Inc., Berlin Lions Agricultural Fair Inc. and Berlin Lions Charities, Inc. as additional insured is required with the signed application and deposit, or with the contract balance, by June 15, 2026; group coverage can be bought through Total Event Insurance. A valid Connecticut sales tax number is required unless exempt, and food vendors must obtain their own Temporary Food Service Permit. Vendors and concessions must be open and attended for all four days and all posted hours (gates Thu 4pm, Fri 11am, Sat 9am, Sun 9am). Basic rental includes 900 watts of electrical supply; more may carry an additional charge, and electrical heaters are prohibited. RVs, trailers, trucks or vans used as living quarters pay $125 and must use the designated camping area. Note as of this capture the fair is NOT accepting food vendor applications.
