The Brooklyn Fair is the annual agricultural fair of the Windham County Agricultural Society, held over four days at the Brooklyn Fairgrounds at Route 169 and Fairgrounds Road in Brooklyn, Connecticut; the 2026 edition, August 27-30, is its 176th. The Society traces to an 1809 harvest gathering in Pomfret, incorporated in 1820, and settled permanently on the Brooklyn grounds in 1849. The fair pairs livestock competition - dairy, beef, sheep, goats, working steer, plus ox, horse and pony pulls - with a carnival midway, tractor and truck pulls, a woodsmen show, and live music across a Main Stage, Center Stage and two acoustic stages. All shows, including Main Stage headliners, are included with gate admission. Admission is $15 adult, $12 senior 65+ and military with ID, and free for children 12 and under; parking is $7, cash only.
