The Champlain Valley Gem, Mineral & Fossil Show is Vermont's largest gem, mineral, and fossil show, produced annually by the Burlington Gem and Mineral Club. The 2026 edition — the club's 45th annual, themed "Metallic Minerals of New England" — fills the Champlain Valley Exposition's Expo North building in Essex Junction with dealer booths selling rocks, minerals, crystals, fossils, gemstones, jewelry, and lapidary supplies, alongside exhibits, demonstrations, gold-panning, a geode-cracking station, a raffle and silent auction, a fossil and mineral identification table, hourly door prizes, and kids' activities. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for seniors (60+), and free for children under 16; free parking. A strong vendor marketplace for lapidary artists, jewelers, and mineral dealers.
