Christmas in Edgartown returns for its 45th year December 10–13, 2026, a four-day holiday weekend in the Martha's Vineyard harbor village, produced by the Edgartown Board of Trade. The Board of Trade has published the 2026 dates; the day-by-day 2026 schedule was not posted as of late September. Last year's program shows the shape of the weekend: the lighting of the Edgartown Lighthouse at Memorial Wharf on Friday evening, a Saturday morning parade on Main Street with floats, music, fire engines and Santa, a Holiday Faire of local artisans on the Village Green, Candy Cane Lane in Nevin Square, and the long-running Christmas in Edgartown Art & Crafts Festival of Island artists and craftspeople at the Edgartown School, along with shop open houses, concerts, a costume dog show and dining specials around town. Getting there takes a ferry or flight: the Steamship Authority runs daily ferries from Woods Hole, and Cape Air flies daily to Martha's Vineyard.
