CrimeStery Fest is a weekend convention for true-crime and mystery fans at the DoubleTree by Hilton Boston North Shore in Danvers. The organizer bills it as "the Northeast's coolest crime convention": authors, podcasters, forensic and law-enforcement experts, educational panels and demonstrations, plus an expo hall of vendors and merchandise. The published schedule includes talks by cold-case detectives, an FBI profiler and a K-9 demonstration, a Friday-night meet and greet in the CrimeStery Lounge, and a Saturday-night party with a wine tasting, comedy and live music. Tickets are $30 for Friday or Sunday only, $60 for Saturday only, or $90 for the whole weekend; kids under 12 are free. Authors, podcasters and vendors who want a place in the expo hall are asked to email the organizer.
