The Cummington Fair on August 27-30, 2026, is a four-day agricultural fair in the western Massachusetts hilltowns, held at the historic Cummington Fairgrounds. Founded in 1883 and run by the Hillside Agricultural Society, the fair features livestock and agricultural exhibits, horse pulls, ox pulls, vintage tractor displays, a midway with rides, food vendors, craft vendors, live entertainment, and traditional country fair competitions. It is the largest annual gathering in the Hampshire County hilltowns.

Fri, Aug 28, 2026:4pm - 9:30pm(Horse & Ox Draw at the Pulling Arena: 4:30pm Women's Powder Puff Draft Horses, followed by the 20ft "No Touch" Stoneboat Draft Horses.)

Sat, Aug 29, 2026:7am - 9:30pm(Veterans and active military get in free today only, with military ID. Ox Judging 8:30am; Draft Oxen Pulls at 10am (2400#), 1pm (2800#), 4pm (3200#) and 7pm (over 3200#).)

Sun, Aug 30, 2026:7am - 7:30pm(Closing day. Mini Horse Pull (kids) 10am; 3100# Draft Horses at noon; 3400# at 3pm; over 3400# at 6:30pm.)

Vendor applications for the 2026 fair are CLOSED — the fair states "Vendor applications are no longer being accepted for this year's fair." 2027 applications open in February. Applications are made by online form on the Vendor Page; the fair notes it can take until the end of May to hear back about available space.
