Fiddlers and Fiddlehead Festival 2026
The Fiddlers and Fiddlehead Festival is an annual community celebration at the Patten Lumbermen's Museum, marking Maine's spring fiddlehead harvest with art, music, and outdoor recreation. The 2026 event takes place Saturday, May 16. Programming includes a live art battle, where local artists compete to create works in real time on the festival grounds, and an Aroostook River canoe and kayak race featuring scenic competition on the water. Free admission and family-friendly throughout. Held at the Patten Lumbermen's Museum, an outdoor museum near the gateway to Baxter State Park, the festival celebrates community, art, and the natural heritage of northern Maine.
