Italian Feast of Saints Cosmas and Damian 2026
40 views
The Italian Feast of Saints Cosmas and Damian returns to East Cambridge for its 101st year. Established in 1926 by Italian immigrants from the coastal town of Gaeta, the free three-day street festival honors the twin third-century physician martyrs who offered medical care without accepting payment. The festival grounds run along Warren Street, Porter Street and Cambridge Street, radiating from the Society's historic chapel at 17 Porter Street, and combine Italian food stands, games, rides and live entertainment with the traditional religious procession.
