Kennebunkport Christmas Prelude 2026
The 45th Annual Kennebunkport Christmas Prelude transforms downtown Kennebunkport and Lower Village Kennebunk into a festive holiday village for 11 days. Signature events include Santa's Arrival by Lobster Boat (Sunday, Dec 6), the Prelude Family Street Festival and Fireworks in Dock Square (Friday, Dec 8 — strolling carolers, ice sculpting, food vendors, live music), the Pooch Parade (Sunday, Dec 10), tree lightings, hat parades, and dozens of pop-up craft and artisan markets across local shops, churches, and inns. One of New England's largest and longest-running holiday celebrations.
