The Maine Science Festival is a 5-day free festival held annually in Bangor each March, featuring 70+ activities, hands-on exhibits, workshops, forums, and trivia for all ages. Produced by the Maine Discovery Museum, the 2026 edition (March 25-29) included science trivia, Science on Tap at Mason's Brewing Company, the Maine Invention Convention statewide student competition, the Maine Mobile BIOLAB, the 5 Minute Genius headliner show at Penobscot Theatre, the Downtown Bangor Scavenger Hunt, and two days of exhibits at Cross Insurance Center with 20+ presenting organizations from across Maine.
