Maker Battle 2026 — Round 1 is an ant-weight (1 lb) remote-controlled robot combat tournament hosted by MakerspaceCT at 36 Talcott Street in downtown Hartford. A total of 32 bots compete in a double-elimination format, with rounds lasting up to 2 minutes or until one robot is disabled. Family-friendly STEAM event featuring engineering, robotics, and community. Setup and check-in begin at 8am; competition runs 10am–4pm. Tickets available for spectators.
