
A free, family-friendly weekend celebrating Scandinavian heritage in Maine's Swedish Colony, founded by 51 Swedish immigrants in 1870. Features the raising and decorating of the Midsommar pole, traditional folk dancing, fiddlers from across the U.S. and Canada, smörgåsbord meals, Swedish baked goods, and communal dinners at Gustaf Adolph Lutheran Church. Held the weekend before Midsommar in Sweden.
