Nantucket Christmas Stroll 2026

The 52nd Nantucket Christmas Stroll runs December 4–6, 2026, organized by the Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce as the centerpiece of the island's Nantucket Noel season. Its best-known tradition comes Saturday at noon, when Santa arrives by Coast Guard vessel and rides up Main Street in a red fire truck with the Town Crier. Through the weekend, downtown fills with Victorian-costumed carolers, talking Christmas trees, student choirs, musicians and performers, while Chamber member shops and restaurants hold their own seasonal events. The Stroll Marketplace, a European-style holiday market of island artisans, merchants, nonprofits and food trucks, is open Saturday, December 5, from 10am to 3pm in the NIR/Stop & Shop lot at 9 Salem Street, near the bottom of Main Street. Admission is free and open to all. Pick up the Official Stroll Program at the Chamber office, Zero Main Street, second floor. Parking downtown is very limited, so the Chamber suggests taking a cab or the free Wave shuttle.
