NEAR-Fest XL is the fall 2026 edition of the New England Amateur Radio Festival, the largest amateur radio event in the Northeast. Held at the Hillsborough County 4-H Fairgrounds in New Boston, New Hampshire, it runs Friday October 2 through Saturday October 3, rain or shine. The draw is the largest ham radio flea market in the Northeast, with rows of tailgaters plus an indoor commercial vendor building, alongside FCC licensing exams on Friday, Midway exhibits, a Friday-evening acoustic HAM-JAM at 7 pm, prize drawings entered with your admission ticket, food vendors, overnight camping from Thursday at 3 pm, and a talk-in repeater (444.200+ PL 186.2). Gates open at 8 am Friday and 7 am Saturday; closing ceremonies are 2 pm Saturday. Admission is $15 for both days, and anyone under 18, full-time students, non-ham spouses and exam candidates get in free.
