New Haven Chalk Art Festival

The 9th New Haven Chalk Art Festival, presented by The Shops at Yale — Saturday, October 3, 2026, 12–4 PM (rain date Sunday, October 4). It fills an expanded Broadway District site: Elm Street (closed between Park and Broadway), the Civil War Monument Park and Broadway Island (56 Broadway). Stroll and vote on chalk art by more than 60 professional and amateur artists, with music and family entertainment. Free and open to the public; free parking at the 150 York Street Garage 11 AM–6 PM with a validation stamp from The Shops at Yale tent.
