Pettengill Family Farm Day

Family Farm Day at Pettengill Farm is a farm festival for the whole family, held Sunday, October 4, 2026, from 10am to 2pm, as part of the Freeport Historical Society's Pettengill Weekend and the farm's 50th anniversary celebration. Expect live music, food, vintage arts, crafts and games, and tours of the farmhouse, a salt-box home where families lived and worked from the 1790s to the 1970s. Entrance is free; some activities, such as a woodworking project, can be purchased at the gate. The night before, Hay Day (Saturday, October 3, 4–6pm, $25) brings bluegrass, food and Maine Beer Co. brews to the farm.
