Pierpole Days is the town of Strong, Maine's annual community festival — a weekend-long celebration of the rich history and settlement of Strong. The 2026 edition marks the town's 225th anniversary (themed "Strong is 225!") and runs Thursday July 9 through Sunday July 12, organized by the Strong Events Committee across multiple locations around town. Highlights include an art and photography show, the Strong Variety Show and a dessert auction, a 5K road race, a Cruisin' Car Show, the Strong 225 Celebration Parade, a first-ever quilt show and barbecue throwdown, Sandy River Festival events, crafters and vendors, live entertainment, and fireworks at Legion Field — plus a full slate of free family activities. The detailed schedule is tentative; specific times are posted by the organizers closer to the event.
