Federally recognized tribe headquartered in Presque Isle, Maine. Host of the annual Mawiomi of Tribes — a multi-day cultural gathering held the third weekend of August at Spruce Haven in Caribou, sharing Mi'kmaq traditions through dancing, drumming, food, and craftwork.
