Maine Wildlife Park

The Maine Wildlife Park in Gray is operated by the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife. It's home to more than 30 species of native Maine wildlife — including moose, black bears, bald eagles, white-tailed deer, and mountain lions — that cannot be returned to the wild after being injured, orphaned, or raised in captivity. Visitors can walk the shaded trails, meet the animals up close, and explore educational exhibits, a nature store, snack shack, and picnic areas. The park hosts seasonal events throughout the year, from the spring plant sale to chainsaw carving and Fall Fun Days. Open daily mid-April through early November (weather permitting).
