The Barnstable County Fair is Cape Cod's marquee summer event — seven days of midway rides, fair food, livestock, live music, and a demolition derby at the Cape Cod Fairgrounds in East Falmouth. The 2026 fair runs July 20–26.

What it is

Held each July at the Cape Cod Fairgrounds (1220 Nathan Ellis Highway / Route 151, East Falmouth, MA), the Barnstable County Fair packs seven days with entertainment, agriculture, and amusements. The Cape Cod Times named it the "Best Local Event of 2022." Expect a full main-stage concert lineup, Rockwell Amusements' midway, 4-H demonstrations, petting zoos, livestock shows, exhibit halls of vegetables, crafts and Americana, and the fair's signature demolition derby — which the fair bills as the world's largest.
