What the festival is
Glasgow Lands is built around the pipes: roughly 40 pipe bands and hundreds of pipers and drummers, with pipe band, solo pipe & drum, drum major, and Highland dance competitions, plus Highland heavy athletics. Beyond the field there's a clan village, Scottish food and vendors, a whisky tasting, historic European martial-arts demonstrations, a Spinners & Weavers display, and a Celtic pub with entertainment until 8
