Salem Holiday Market 2026: Your Guide to the December Gift Show at Old Town Hall
The Salem Holiday Market is a one-day holiday gift show in downtown Salem. On Sunday, December 20, 2026, more than 60 artists, makers, collectors and dealers from around New England fill both floors of Old Town Hall. 2026 is its 10th year.

What you'll find
The market is juried. New England Open Markets reviews every vendor and looks for a balanced mix of categories. The organizer says it welcomes "all forms of distinctive art, handmade crafts, antiques, curiosities, and oddities."
That last part fits Salem. Past vendor names lean toward the witchy and the curious: bone and botanical work, candles, pottery, printmaking, illustration, jewelry and small-batch food. The venue
Old Town Hall sits in Derby Square, between the Essex Street pedestrian mall and Front Street. It dates from 1816–17 and is the earliest surviving municipal building in Salem. The market uses both floors of the two-story brick building.
Salem Arts Association, which holds its own market in the same building, describes Old Town Hall as ADA accessible, with an elevator at one end and stairs at the other.
Tickets and admission
Admission is $5 at the door, and the organizer lists general admission only. The same page also says tickets are "coming soon," so watch the official site in case advance tickets are added. No separate price for children was listed as of late September.
