The Chaffee Art Center's summer Art in the Park Festival is an annual two-day juried outdoor festival in downtown Rutland featuring fine artists, craftspeople, specialty foods, kids' activities, and live music. Estimated attendance 6,000+ across the weekend, drawing visitors from across Vermont and adjacent states. Held rain (or snow) or shine in Main Street Park at the Junction of Routes 4 & 7. Booth sizes 10x12 ($250) or 20x12 ($375); food vendor 20x12 $400. All new exhibitors are juried for fine art and original handcrafted items.
