Belchertown Fair & Parade — 167th fair. Booth applications are downloaded from the Vendor Space page and mailed with payment. Steps published by the organizer: 1. Review the FAQ / application info sheet ("167th Application INFO final") on btownfair.com/vendor-space. 2. Download and complete the Booth Application ("167-Booth-App(6) final"). 3. Mail the vendor application with the appropriate payment to: Belchertown Fair, PO Box 670, Belchertown, MA 01007, Attention Cindy. 4. Food vendors: also complete the Board of Health application (BOH 167 Fair Application), which must include a ServeSafe Certificate AND an Allergen Awareness Certificate; forward with payment to BOH, PO Box 670, Belchertown, MA. Board of Health questions: 413-323-0406. 5. Review the Temporary Event Food Vendor Checklist and the mobile food establishment standards. 6. If applicable, complete the Fire Permit application and forward with payment to the Fire Department, PO Box 1074, Belchertown, MA. 7. You receive written confirmation when your application is approved. 8. Do not set up until you have checked in at the Gazebo. Questions: Cindy Brown, 413-896-0883 (booth space coordinator and scheduling). Set-up times: Wed noon–5:00 PM · Thu 9:00 AM–6:00 PM · Fri 8:00 AM–noon. Inspections run noon–3:00 PM. Conditions stated by the organizer: the fair is held on the town common among mature trees, so booth placement requires flexibility and the same space as last year is not guaranteed; returning vendors should not assume a larger spot, as space is significantly limited. Tents with cooking underneath must comply with Massachusetts fire-safety requirements, which affects space availability and location. No Styrofoam — all food and beverage containers should be biodegradable. A Decorated Booth Contest runs each year on the fair theme, with a $50 refund to the adult winner and the youth winner. The 2026 vendor list is to be posted September 14. No fixed application deadline is published, but the organizer warns: "Do not wait too long. We fill quickly and move to a wait list only situation."
