Waterville's outdoor farmers market at the scenic Head of Falls park along the Kennebec River, by the Two Cent Bridge (60 Front Street). Open every Thursday from 2–6pm, May through mid-November. Features fresh local produce, meats, baked goods, prepared foods, plants, and artisan crafts from central Maine farms and vendors. Running since its first opening day on May 3, 2006, it now has more than 20 seasons behind it. Most vendors take cash, check and credit cards, many take Venmo, and Bumper Crop can be used with any vendor. The whole market accepts SNAP/EBT: start at the Info Booth, and for every $2 of SNAP you spend you get an extra $1 in Maine Harvest Bucks for fresh fruits, vegetables and seedlings. In winter (December–April) the market moves indoors to Chace Forum, 150 Main Street, Thursdays 2–5pm.
