The annual Harwinton Fair is a traditional Connecticut country agricultural fair held the first weekend of October at the Harwinton Fairgrounds. Features include the pig races, antique tractor show, rabbit costume contest, oxen draw, Civil War displays, magic shows, bluegrass music, livestock judging, midway rides, and a large craft and vendor area showcasing Connecticut artisans and food vendors. Admission $10, free for children 12 and under. Free parking.
