The Washington County Fair, first held in 1849, is the only agricultural fair in Washington County, Maine. It runs August 29–30, 2026 from 9am to 4pm at the Pembroke Fairgrounds, 222 Old County Road in Pembroke. The two-day program includes a T-shirt design contest, vendor exhibits, and harness racing run with the Pembroke Trotting Association.
