The Wilton Blueberry Festival, running since 1982, is the town's signature two-day celebration of the wild blueberry harvest across downtown Wilton, Maine. Held the first Friday and Saturday of August, it features a themed parade, 1-mile/5K/10K road races, a car show, a blueberry pie-eating contest and bake-off, live music, a farmers market and Main Street crafters and vendors, kids' activities at Kineowatha Park, pancake breakfasts and lobster lunches, and a fireworks show over Wilson Lake.
