Maine Paid Family and Medical Leave Program

Maine's Paid Family and Medical Leave (MPFML) program provides eligible Maine workers with up to 12 weeks of paid leave annually for family and medical reasons. Funded through payroll contributions split between employers and employees, with benefits beginning May 1, 2026. Administered by the Maine Department of Labor.
